Postcard from Sao Miguel, the Azores

Such is the paradox of time when travelling, that the twelve days I’ve spent in the Azores feels so much longer.  Last week I posted my ‘postcard’ from Faial and today it comes from Sao Miguel.

Six months ago I hadn’t even heard of the Azores.  But after two weeks exploring two of the nine islands that comprise this archipelago, I’m happy I’ve rectified that mistake!  Wow, what an incredible location.  I return to London tomorrow with lots of photos to edit and stories to tell – so stay tuned!
