  1. Oh joy – I’m an all-rounder. Took decades off to bring up children, see them through uni – now, at last, I can head off wherever I want to go. (Not many places I don’t want to go!)

  2. Hmm it seems like your site ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess
I’ll just sum it up what I submitted and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your
blog. I too am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to everything. Do you have any helpful hints for rookie blog writers? I’d really appreciate it.

    • Oh I’m sorry you lost your first comment, but thanks for trying again 🙂

Your question has actually inspired me to write a post with some tips, so stay tuned in the next couple of weeks! In the meantime, a couple of tips that I hope are helpful:
      – engage in the great travel blogger community. I’ve learned so much from visiting other sites, chatting to other bloggers and reading content from other writers.
      – write regularly. I found this not only improved my writing skills, but opened the ‘inspiration’ part of my brain!
      – give it time. Blogging is hard work and a journey – but an enjoyable one!

I’ll include some more tips and more detail in the post I’m pulling together!

  3. Also an All Rounder. I never say no to a new travel experience……Always wondering where to go next 🙂
